The Competition

Soopa Hooch is giving one aspiring DJ the chance to take to the stage at XLR Manchester on 26 February 2027, as well as taking home a year's supply of Soopa Hooch and a brand new home set up.

Key Dates

• Competition launches: 1 October 2026
• Competition closes: 26 November 2026
• Finalists confirmed: 20 December 2026
• Winner announced: 28 January 2027
• Final event: 26 February 2027 at XLR Manchester

How to Enter

Entrants must:

• Be 18 years or older and based in the UK
• Create and submit a 15–20 minute DJ mini mix
• Enter online via https://hoochdrink.co.uk/ before the competition closes

The submitted mix must be the entrant's own work and must comply with the competition entry requirements.

Shortlisting & Judging

Five finalists will be selected from all eligible entries by the Soopa Hooch judging panel.

Judging will be based on factors including DJ ability, creativity, originality, energy and overall suitability for the Soopa Hooch brand and final event.

The five shortlisted finalists will be contacted on or around 20 December 2026.

Finalist Prize – 5 Winners

Each of the five shortlisted finalists will receive:

• A Soopa Hooch prize package including merchandise and product
• Tickets to the Soopa Hooch final event at XLR Manchester on 26 February 2027

Grand Prize – 1 Winner

One overall winner will receive:

• The opportunity to perform a live DJ set at the Soopa Hooch final event at XLR Manchester on 26 February 2027
• A year's supply of Soopa Hooch: 1 x 8-pack of 440ml Soopa Hooch delivered each month for 12 months
• A home DJ set up (Pioneer XDJ)

The winner must be available to attend and perform at the final event. Travel and accommodation are not included unless otherwise confirmed by Soopa Hooch.

Important Terms

• The competition is open to entrants aged 18+.
• Entry is subject to eligibility and the competition entry requirements.
• One entry per person
• Soopa Hooch reserves the right to disqualify entries that are incomplete or do not meet the competition requirements.
• Finalists and the overall winner may be required to provide additional information to verify their eligibility
• By entering, participants agree that Soopa Hooch may use their name, image, submitted content and competition-related content for promotional purposes
• The winner must be available to perform at XLR Manchester on 26 February 2027
• Prizes are non-transferable and there is no cash alternatives
